Computer Packages Inc. (CPI) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Developer to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex intellectual property management development projects and enhance our client-server applications.

 

Responsibilities

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, coding, modifying, and updating client-server applications.
  • Performing development work on complex intellectual property management projects.
  • Providing programming expertise for various functionalities, including:
    • Data entry and file maintenance
    • Updates and report generation
    • Data auditing
    • Invoicing and tracking tax due dates per country laws
    • Automated email generation for clients, agents, and patent offices.

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Coursework must include proficiency in the following programming languages:
    • Java
    • Python
    • HTML
    • MATLAB
    • SQL
    • MySQL
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key technologies, including:
    • Spring/Springboot
    • Hibernate
    • Tomcat
    • PostgreSQL
    • JIRA
    • REST APIs
    • AWS

 

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $101,421
