AIPLA 2026 Annual Meeting
The AIPLA 2026 Annual Meeting will take place October 29–31, 2026, at the Westin Washington, DC, Downtown, bringing together intellectual property professionals from across the United States and around the world. As one of the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s signature events, the Annual Meeting offers three days of programming, collaboration, and community designed to support practitioners at every stage of their IP careers.
The week begins with AIPLA’s leadership sessions. On Tuesday, October 27, the Executive Committee will meet, followed by Board of Directors meetings on October 28 and October 31. A Board and Committee Leadership Meeting and an evening Leadership Networking Event on October 28 set the stage for strategic discussions and organizational planning.
From October 29 through 31, attendees will participate in the full slate of general programming and social events, which will include committee meetings, educational sessions, and opportunities to engage with colleagues across the IP ecosystem. While full program details will be announced later, the Annual Meeting traditionally features updates on major developments in patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, litigation, regulation, and policy.
Networking remains a core component of the AIPLA experience, with receptions, breaks, and community events built into the schedule to encourage connection and collaboration among attorneys, in-house counsel, academics, government representatives, and industry leaders.
Additional information—including the full agenda, speaker lineup, sponsorship opportunities, and reservation link—will be provided as the event approaches.
